A Zoom link will be sent to registrants prior to the training.

This vendor-led training session will teach attendees how to prioritize accessibility issues, tips to prevent further accessibility issues from arising, and how to use Siteimprove to fix broken links and misspellings. Site administrators can request access to Siteimprove here. The platform offers users an at-a-glance dashboard that clearly pinpoints where improvements to accessibility should be made. Utilizing Siteimprove helps guarantee university websites comply with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines for compliance levels A, AA, and AAA.

Please contact the UFIT training team for additional information about the Siteimprove training or other UFIT trainings offered.

Improve UF Site Accessibility–Free Training

Siteimprove also assists in improving web accessibility (to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0, A-AAA), helps monitor broken links and misspellings, and ensures that published contact information is up to date.

How: Registration Link for Siteimprove 101

Attending the Siteimprove 101 webinar is an excellent way for UF’s site admins, web managers, and web content editors to learn how to maximize their time fixing issues with the biggest impact on their site’s accessibility rating. World Usability Day is November 11, and everyone who publishes content to the web should be aware of UF’s obligation to improving site accessibility for all. Web accessibility and usability go hand in hand, so let’s ensure we are all working toward designing with usability in mind. Siteimprove is a great tool to enable this goal.
