November 14, 2013
The Remedy application software used by UF for help desk, change requests, incidents, and service requests tickets will be unavailable starting at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 15, until 8:00 a.m. on Monday, November 18.
During the November 15-18 scheduled maintenance window, Remedy tickets cannot be created or updated.
Faculty, students, and staff may still submit email requests to the UF Computing Help Desk (firstname.lastname@example.org). All requests emailed to the UF Computing Help Desk during this weekend’s maintenance window will be processed on Monday morning, November 18, after the system comes back online.
The goals of this weekend’s maintenance are to:
1. Stabilize the Remedy system
2. Improve performance
3. Address reporting functionality
Anyone trying to use Remedy this weekend will be redirected to a ‘Request.it.ufl.edu (Remedy application) is currently unavailable due to scheduled maintenance’ message. Please visit (132 HUB), call (352-392-4357/HELP), or email the Help Desk with any questions.
