UFIT is transferring the management of the myUFL homepage or “splashpage” to the Office of University Relations. The transfer takes place after the Friday, November 18 content update. The splashpage is also being upgraded to match the look and feel of the university’s new web template launched earlier this year.

MyUFL is home to the enterprise-wide services used daily by faculty, students, and staff. With thousands of logins each week, the splashpage provides coveted real estate to inform the UF community about events, programs, and opportunities. Decisions about reservation requests, including future reservations previously confirmed, will now be reviewed based on overall strategic priorities, available space, and timing of reservation. Input on reservations will come from representatives of the Provost’s Office, Human Resource Services, the Facilities Department, University of Florida Advancement, and UF Communications. To request a reservation, send an email to After a request is approved, UF Communications will create banners according to branding guidelines that are also consistent with other messaging.
