Inadequate passwords and outdated security settings on mobile devices leave your personal information vulnerable. Last week it was reported that 500+ million Yahoo email accounts were breached, exposing names, email addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, passwords, and security answers and questions.

Visit the Information Security Office (ISO) at Tech Fair to learn how to protect yourself from cyber attacks like this one. Information security specialists will be there to explain how to improve password strength and adjust mobile device security settings to help students secure their files and personal information:

2016 Student Tech Fair

Bring your laptop as well as your phone with you, and let the experts confirm all of your devices’ settings and anti-virus protections are up-to-date. The ISO will also have some great SWAG, so stop by!
