While all compute, storage, and network systems will be fully operational, UFIT’s Research Computing staff will have slightly reduced support levels from Dec. 15 through Jan. 1. Issues arising during this timeframe will be addressed as soon as possible. The reduction in service levels only applies to:
1. No new investments for cores or storage will be processed.
2. No new software will be installed.
3. No requests for advanced user support will be processed.
Regular operations resume on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019.
Spring 2019 Training Schedule: UFIT will offer weekly research-centric training in New Physics Building Room 2205, from 10:40 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. More information and registration links are available by visiting https://training.it.ufl.edu/training/ and checking the ‘RESEARCH COMPUTING’ box under “AREA.”
