March 6, 2012
The Spring 2012 Research Computing Day will be held on Wednesday, April 25, in the Reitz Union Ballroom.
The focus for spring’s “RC Day” is research data management. Organized in collaboration with the UF Libraries, the April 25 event will feature presentations built on the theme of:
Data Management 101:
Understanding the basic concepts of data management in research and scholarly disciplines.
After the feature presentations a session will be held on how to write clear, well-conceived data management plans for proposal submissions. Data management plans are now required of investigators submitting proposals to the NSF and NIH.
The agenda for Research Computing Day – Spring 2012 is being finalized. Look for it soon on the RC Day page of UFIT’s Web site.
