Planned Maintenance for HiPerGator
August 5, 2021

On Monday, August 9, UFIT will shut down HiPerGator and HiPerGator AI for one week. The shutdown period is so that staff can implement changes in the storage infrastructure for HiPerGator. The maintenance week was scheduled between the summer and fall terms to minimize disruption for UF’s research and teaching community.
All systems will be shut down on August 9 at 8:00 a.m. This includes the running of jobs via SLURM, all interactive sessions, Globus, SMB file shares, and LHC-CMS. The changes and maintenance plan will continue through August 15.
The HiPerGator supercomputing ecosystem will be fully available at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, August 16. Anyone with questions about the changes and planned maintenance is welcome to contact UFIT Research Computing staff.
