In support of the Artificial Intelligence Initiative, UF is extending several opportunities to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) with academic and research pursuits:
Fundamentals of Deep Learning for Computer Vision, an NVIDIA-led workshop, was so popular on its first offering in May that it has been scheduled three more times over the summer. This hands-on workshop covers machine learning and deep learning principles. At the workshop’s conclusion participants will be able to access additional resources to create their own deep learning applications. The three additional dates scheduled are June 16, July 17, and July 28. Each offering will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A $10 registration fee required. An overview of the workshop, the participant prerequisites, and registration form are online.
Anyone with questions about the NVIDIA workshops or other upcoming AI programming may contact Dr. George Michailidis (352-294-3912, email@example.com), director of the UF Informatics Institute.
