Natural Language Processing Support

GRAPHIC: Golden shimmery version of HiPerGatorAI wordmark

With the overwhelming interest level in using HiPerGator to conduct artificial intelligence (AI) research, UFIT’s Research Computing staff are focusing on a specific topic of AI support at the next Birds-of-a-Feather session. The June 15 session will orient researchers on utilizing natural language processing (NLP) tools on HiPerGator:

Tuesday, June 15
12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Location: Virtual Event via Zoom

AI systems for understanding, processing, and creating text have improved exponentially since Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (i.e., “BERT”) was released in 2018. Let UFIT’s experts help you learn and apply these innovations to your project. This event is designed for any skill levels and encourages discussion of research ideas. UFIT’s Bird-of-a-Feather events are free, but pre-registration is required. (Registrants will receive an email with the Zoom meeting link.) Visit this link to register.

Attending this event is a great opportunity to network with other researchers interested in NLP. Research community members are encouraged to submit topics for future Birds-of-a-Feather events. Send your idea, or email any questions you may have about natural language processing support at UF, to Applications Specialist Ying Zhang.
