On Saturday, March 10, the Sunshine State Education and Research Alliance (SSERCA) is holding a one-day workshop, Multi-Core and Many-Core Systems.

The workshop is at FSU’s Turnbull Conference Center in Tallahassee, a 90-minute drive from Gainesville. Representatives from Intel and Nvidia will present hardware roadmaps, software environments, and discuss some tips and tricks to getting the most out of multi-core architectures.

The workshop is presented by the Sunshine State Education and Research Computing Alliance (SSERCA), a new organization supporting statewide collaborations related to extreme-scale computing. By bringing researchers together from different disciplines and institutions, this workshop offers an excellent opportunity for researchers in Florida to form statewide working groups to address extreme-scale computing challenges and opportunities.
