HiPerGator Training Available in Multiple Formats

Research Computing Trainer Matt Gitzendanner

Researchers at UF utilize state-of-the-art technologies in their pursuit of knowledge. Invaluable among these technologies is HiPerGator, the university’s supercomputer. UF Research Computing wants every researcher to benefit from HiPerGator–no matter their field of study.

Face-to-Face Training
Throughout the year, staff teach face-to-face training on using HiPerGator, covering commonly used applications. They also host the required training for researchers undertaking projects that engage restricted data. Prior knowledge of high-performance computing systems is not required. Click here for course descriptions and a schedule of upcoming training.

Online Training
Online training modules that mirror the face-to-face sessions are available on the UFIT Training website. The online modules offer short, topical videos on the topics covered in the live sessions, and allow users to find the most relevant content for their training needs.

Provisional Training
Users unable to attend scheduled training may request a training session for their group. (These sessions are not recorded.)
