The 2019 HiPerGator Symposium, an event for postdoctoral associates and graduate students who use the university’s supercomputer, will be held Tuesday, Oct. 22, from 9:00am–2:00pm in the UF Informatics Institute (UFII).

The symposium’s research focus is intended to encourage collaboration between HiPerGator users and showcase how UF’s supercomputer allows researchers to obtain and visualize results. The format consists of twelve, 10-minute presentations in the morning with a poster session during and after the lunch. Postdocs and graduate students who use HiPerGator are encouraged to submit abstracts. Submissions will be considered for either a poster presentation or 10-minute presentation. The deadline to apply is Sept. 23. Symposium acceptance notifications will go out by Sept. 30.

This is the second annual HiPerGator Symposium hosted by UFIT and the UFII. All attendees (presenters and non-presenters) must register online, and interested faculty and students are welcome to attend.
