UF Research Computing’s matching program provides funds for UF faculty who participate in one of the system acquisitions conducted by the High Performance Computing (HPC) Center. There is $300,000 of matching funding available this year. 2011-2012 is the second year of a five-year matching program established to enhance support of research computing at UF.

The deadline to submit a proposal for commitment of funds is July 31, 2012.

More information about the Matching Program is available on the Research Computing Advisory Committee Web site. Purchase of systems resulting from this year’s funding is planned for October, 2012. The new systems are expected to be in production and housed in UF’s East Campus Data Center by February, 2013.

For additional information about the Research Computing Matching Program and to commit funds, please contact Erik Deumens, Director of Research Computing, or Associate Director Charles Taylor.
