The 2016-2017 Research Computing Services brochure is now on the RC website. The new brochure includes information on UFApps for Faculty and UFApps for Research, along with proposal support and consulting options available for research faculty and their staff.
Funded research enabled by UFIT continues to grow, with Research Computing supporting approximately $500 million of the university’s $724 million sponsored research portfolio. This is partly due to the FISMA environment stood up in 2015, benefiting researchers whose proposals require compliance with the NIST 800-53 standard.
Along with proposal support and application consulting, UF Research Computing offers free training. The full training schedule, including Galaxy, Intro to HiPerGator, and MATLAB, is available on UFIT’s Training website. For more information on Research Computing resources and to get help with your proposal, visit the RC website or contact a member of the Research Computing team.
