To prepare for the influx of new students and faculty, UFIT upgraded the onboarding process that enables users to connect to UF’s wireless network. The simpler and quicker experience eliminates the need for faculty, students, and staff to install additional software before being able to connect their mobile devices to campus wireless.
Constituent devices that have previously connected to UF’s wireless network do not have to do anything to continue access. Authentication via https://getonline.ufl.edu/ is still required prior to connecting a mobile device for the first time. To enroll a device for use on the UF wireless network, enter your UserName@ufl.edu or UserName@shands.ufl.edu login (i.e., your GatorLink credentials) and follow the prompts.
