UF’s e-Learning System Upgraded
July 20, 2012

Recent updates to UF’s e-Learning environment provide several enhancements for system users.
Changes include improvements to Content Editor, Assignments, Assessments, and Tools and Quizzes. Compatibility with Internet Explorer 7 is also improved: the course toolbar is now visible. The work, completed in May, is a major software upgrade that also included enhancements to database performance. A complete list of updates to UF’s e-Learning system is on the UF Computing Help Desk Wiki and on UFIT’s Learning Support Services Web site.
The e-Learning project team and Sakai Advisory Committee are now soliciting instructor feedback about UF’s e-Learning environment. Faculty suggestions and rankings established through the voting process will be used to identify priorities for system changes. The feedback link is available on the e-Learning Support Services Web site in the left-hand navigation menu. Instructors may also access the feedback link through the article in the Sakai Message of the Day section on the ‘My Workspace’ homepage.
