UFIT is sponsoring the inaugural CNS Hosting Day. This will be a chance to learn about services offered by CNS, the UFIT department that manages central computing servers and storage used primarily to host myUFL, UF’s Data Warehouse, and ISIS, but also used by some colleges and departments. CNS Hosting Day is also an opportunity for departmental IT Directors, faculty, and staff to meet CNS staff and interact with others in the UF community who use hosting services.
“This event is a forum for current customers of CNS hosting services to learn about new product and service offerings, as well as learn about some significant price reductions,” notes Tim Fitzpatrick, senior director of CNS. “As a department we also benefit tremendously from hearing direct feedback from customers–what they think is working and what isn’t. We hope this event serves as an opportunity for customers to share their experiences and ideas with us, each other, and those who may be interested in utilizing CNS hosting services.”
CNS Hosting Day will be on Wednesday, October 31 in Smathers 1A (Library East).
