Faculty and staff can now enroll in the GatorCloud OneDrive service, available through UF’s Cloud Services portfolio. The OneDrive service offers:
• 25GB of document and file storage
• Access to MS Office Online web applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote)
• Approved storage of UF restricted data, excluding Protected Health Information (PHI)
To enroll, visit UF’s GatorCloud Services website and click “Get Started”. The only requirement for UF employees is to certify or “attest” that you do not come into contact with Protected Health Information (PHI). After you complete the one-screen attestation in myUFL, the system review process will generate an email in approximately 30 minutes providing further instructions to complete your OneDrive enrollment.
GatorCloud’s OneDrive service is part of the expanding UFIT GatorCloud Services offerings. The GatorCloud now includes apps powered by Microsoft as well as UF’s virtual 24/7 lab environment for students available at info.apps.ufl.edu. For more information or assistance with any of UF’s Cloud Services, contact the UF Computing Help Desk.
