The University of Florida’s Strategic Goals for IT: 2015-2020 publication is now online. This publication serves as UFIT’s five-year plan to use in support of university-wide objectives, including facilitating UF’s rise to Top-10.
The Goals document was developed after extensive engagement with campus stakeholders. Engagement efforts included meetings with academic, administrative, and student leaders, retreats with IT staff from across UF, comparisons with peer institutions, focus groups, surveys, and analyses of trends in industry and education. Vice President and CIO Elias Eldayrie is eager to share the Goals publication with campus.
“The time we’ve spent listening to our campus partners has been integral to the development of the goals listed in this plan,” said Eldayrie. “We want to provide the most innovative and efficient services possible, all while delivering the best customer experience. The feedback received from campus while preparing this plan will help us to do that. It’s exciting to think about how we can transform the IT environment at UF, and to imagine what IT at UF will look like in 2020.”
