UF’s IT Awards and Recognitions Program recognizes teams who bring out the best in each other, serve customers with distinction, and honor those who work behind the scenes to keep university systems running. Anyone, regardless of academic or administrative department, may nominate deserving teams.
A ‘team’ is defined as staff who functioned as an IT project team. The project team nominated may have both IT and non-IT staff. Nominations can be submitted on behalf of a group that worked together for a specific period of time to resolve a technical issue or improve a process; or for an established group, unit, or department. There are three awards categories:
- Bringing out the Best: Collaboration, Innovation and Leadership Throughout UFIT
- Serving the Client: Providing Consistent and Exceptional Service
- Unsung Heroes: Working Behind the Scenes
The nomination submission deadline is Friday, April 10. All awards categories are team categories. (Nominations for individuals will not be considered.) The selection committee will evaluate the nominations based on work performed during the eligibility period of April 1, 2014 – March 30, 2015, and how the outcomes of that work contributed to the university’s IT goals and core values during the eligibility period.
