UFIT staff will teach a special workshop for instructional faculty and TAs who would like to use UFApps as part of their course curriculum. This workshop is offered in conjunction with the Office of the Provost’s Center for Teaching Excellence and counts towards their “Passport to Great Teaching” certificate program. All instructors are welcome to register–the only prerequisite is your passion for teaching! The UFApps for Faculty workshop will be held:

Date: January 16, 2020
Time: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Location: Hub 221

The workshop is FREE but pre-registration is required. Registration is through the Passport Portal. If you do not have a Portal account don’t worry–it’s easy to set up an account. An online user guide is available if you need help navigating the Passport Portal.

The UFApps service provides students and faculty with more than 160 software applications for teaching and learning. The service is free and available 24/7 anywhere you have an internet connection. Anyone with questions about the “Passport to Great Teaching” certificate or other services and offerings in the Center for Teaching Excellence may contact Coordinator Zaina Sheets.
