“What’s New in e-Learning” Video

Opening Screen of What's New Training

This summer UFIT upgraded the e-Learning systems. Many faculty suggestions were incorporated as part of the upgrade. A video is now available that provides an overview of the enhancements:

Video: What’s New in e-Learning

The video takes you through the improvements to the overall “look and feel” experience when navigating the upgraded system. Faculty recommendations that provide for greater flexibility, time savings, and more options when managing courses in Sakai were made simultaneous to upgrading the system. Some of the new features (and updates to existing features) include:

■ New Gradebook Options
■ Improved Roles and Permissions in Discussions
■ Automatic Randomized Groups
■ Greater Control of Turnitin Options in Assignments
■ New Question Types in Tests and Quizzes

There are several “What’s New” face-to-face workshops scheduled for August and September. Visit the Workshop schedule page to see the complete e-Learning training schedule or to register for a session. A Sakai upgrade Wiki page is also available. Please contact Learning Support Services with any questions about the upgrade or about e-Learning training offerings.
