Thirty software titles have been added to UFApps since the start of the spring term. The new offerings join 100+ other apps that students and faculty can use for FREE. Additions include Autodesk MotionBuilder, Nvivo, GeoStudio, Audacity, and Tableau. All available apps are listed in the right-hand column on https://info.apps.ufl.edu/.

Initially a student-only pilot program funded through the Student Tech Fee, UFApps has been a production service since summer 2014, providing 24/7 software access on any device (the service is platform agnostic), from any internet-enabled location, at any time. Last year’s most popular apps were MATLAB, SPSS, ArcGIS ArcMap, Excel, and SAS. Students and faculty can start using the service by visiting the UFApps homepage, clicking “Login to UFApps,” and entering their GatorLink credentials.

Faculty who would like to use UFApps in their course, schedule a 1-on-1 consultation with a member of the UFApps staff, or request a software title be added to UFApps, may place a request by completing the Course Usage form.
