UF just completed its second year in ‘lynda campus’, the program that provides free 24/7 access to lynda.com training.
Once again, The Gator Nation is #1 in the country for overall lynda usage! UF students, faculty, and staff accessed 1,634 out of a then-possible 1,978 courses–83% of all courses available. There are now over 2,000 courses to choose from. The University of Florida is the only school in the lynda campus program with a course access rate above 80%. What were the 10 most popular lynda training courses at UF this year?

So far in August, the five most-viewed courses have been: WordPress Essential Training, DSLR Video Tips, The Practicing Photographer, Excel 2010 Essential Training, and Time Management Fundamentals. Using lynda.com, you can watch a whole course or just the video on the skill you need. For example, you don’t need to watch the entire Excel 2010 course if all you need to learn is how to use pivot tables. Log in to lynda for free via the UF-authenticated site: http://www.it.ufl.edu/training/.
