Three e-Learning Updates Now Live

SCREEN CAPTURE: Rubrics Menu Item in Canvas e-Learning

Three updates recently went live in Canvas, UF’s e-Learning environment:

Assignment Submission Attempts
Instructors can now limit the number of submission attempts students have for an assignment. The default is still unlimited. Note that there is no way to allow for additional attempts if a student requires more than the limit set by the instructor.

Rubrics Menu Item
The Rubrics menu item has been removed from the Outcomes tab and is now its own left-hand navigation item. The new location for the Rubrics item is shown in the screen capture.

Direct Share
Direct Share allows instructors to copy individual course items to another course and share individual items with others. This change allows content to be shared directly in Canvas without having to use a secondary repository like Commons. Instructors can now directly copy a quiz or assignment to another course and can share that resource directly with another instructor.
