Before you graduate, take advantage of UF tech resources offered to students:
In “the real world,” tech support often means hours on the phone or in a line. Before leaving for that full-time job or internship, visit the Apple Service Center in Reitz Union. Certified Apple technicians there will diagnose problems for free and offer very competitive rates for repairs and other services. Go see the JWRU Apple techs for warranty-covered repairs–it’ll be much faster than driving to the nearest Apple store, wasting a day just to get service for your Mac or iPad.
Maybe you haven’t yet snagged your dream job. No worries! UF’s Career Resource Center offers helpful tools like online mock interviews, career road maps, and resume and cover letter tutorials. UFIT also provides free 24/7 access to lynda.com, so you can brush up on software skills referenced in that “proficient in…” statement on your resume before you head into an interview.
