Extraordinary times calls for an extraordinary event. For the first time in its six-year history, Tech Fair will be virtual. Another first: Rather than being solely a student-focused event, faculty and staff can participate, too! We have prizes available–a Beats Pill+ and an Apple Watch–for two members of the UF community in each group, so no matter your affiliation, you have a chance to win!
How do you participate? That’s easy. Complete the online scavenger hunt and answer 20 questions about UF’s IT services. You’ll find the link added to https://it.ufl.edu/techfair/ on February 17. UFIT will leave the survey open for three workdays, from 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17, to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 19. Select your primary affiliation–faculty, staff, or student–and then complete the hunt tailored for that affiliation. So…don’t worry about completing questions related to student-focused services if you are a faculty member, and vice versa!
The goal of the event is for the UF community to learn about services available. Most services in the scavenger hunt are FREE! Anyone with questions about Tech Fair is welcome to email firstname.lastname@example.org.
