UFIT’s summer academic IT training schedule features new workshops along with popular favorites. Canvas Bootcamp will be offered throughout the summer, with Saturday sessions available once per month. All courses meet in HUB 221. (A complete list of Canvas-related training and up-to-date Canvas FAQs page is online.)
The SPSS and Qualtrics workshop series are also planned. Dates for each series are TBA, but those interested can register online now. The first 15 participants for each topic will be given June dates, with remaining registrants assigned to July and August. Registration is available for the fall semester as well.
Additional training options this summer include workshops on Respondus (with tips on preventing cheating during online exams) and Peerceptiv, a research-based peer-reviewing tool that can be activated in Canvas. One-hour workshops on Voicethread and BigBlueButton are also on the calendar this summer.
