The spring Peer2Peer (P2P) is Wednesday, April 16. Never attended a P2P? P2P is an informal, informative event featuring presentations on timely topics from members of University of Florida’s IT community. The spring P2P presentations include TERMINALFOUR, OneUF, SCCM, and Cloud Services at UF.
If your workday includes spending a lot of time in myUFL, there are many classes available to maximize your efforts. Upcoming classes include Managing ePAF 9.1, Making Deposits in myUFL, and classes to help you navigate the Time & Labor and Travel & Expense processes. Learn ways to stay safe online and what’s involved when data travels the information superhighway at UFIT’s Cyber Self-Defense class. The next class will be on Thursday, May 22. Register for the workshop (GET 199) through myUFL.
Students, faculty, and staff with a valid GatorLink ID can use lynda.com, an incredible 24/7 training resource. There are 2,500 online courses in lynda, from Word and Excel to digital photography and desktop publishing suites. The training is FREE, provided through UFIT’s campus-wide contract.
