Spring 2015 Peer2Peer Recap

peer2peer seminar

The Spring 2015 Peer2Peer (P2P) event video is now available online. P2P is a free UFIT training event held twice a year during the spring and fall semesters.

The first speaker at Spring P2P was Ayola Singh-Kreitz, ITSM Delivery Manager, who presented on the IT Service Management initiative. “The biggest value of ITSM is that you get to measure and track what you’re actually doing,” she said. “In our mindset, the data is great because it helps you figure out where your problem areas are, where your success areas are, and you’re able to highlight both of them equally.”

Other presentation topics included PrintSmart, video conferencing recording options, One UF, TERMINALFOUR, and the state of UF’s email systems and migrations.

Spring 2015 Peer2Peer attendees suggested future P2P events cover topics like UF Endpoint Management, digital signage, eFax, and security updates. If you have any recommendations for future P2P event topics, email the IT Training Committee.
