UF’s Technology Innovations Advisory Committee (TIAC) invites faculty members to submit a presentation proposal for the spring 2012 Interface Faculty Seminar on April 26.

The seminar is designed to engage instructors through demonstrations and discussion on how to use new and emerging technologies to improve teaching and learning. The theme of the spring term Interface is “Open Resources, Open Possibilities,” and will focus on the use of open and free resources at UF.

Presentation proposals should be limited to 500 words, and include a descriptive title and brief description about what you teach, the problem, the technology, the challenges, and what you learned. Proposals focused on the established theme will receive priority. Instructors will present in a 10-minute, “lightning round” format. If you are unfamiliar with this format, presentations from the fall 2011 Interface seminar are available online.

When submitting your proposal, please omit any personally identifying information from the content and file name. Proposals must be submitted by March 9 at 5 p.m. to Tawnya Means, Chair, Technology Innovations Advisory Committee.
