Self-Help Resources from the Help Desk

While the UF Computing Help Desk provides 24/7 support for account services and GatorLink issues, the Help Desk website has many resources so students, faculty, and staff can help themselves any time of day.

Start by bookmarking the self-help tab. Among the how-to pages there are step-by-step instructions for connecting to UF’s internet (eduroam), managing your GatorLink account, and setting up your UF GatorMail. There’s also a link to UFIT’s YouTube channel, with nearly 70 videos on all things tech at UF.

Familiarizing yourself with Help Desk resources is a great way to prepare for the upcoming academic year. Of course, even during the campus shutdown, the Help Desk’s technical consultants, e-Learning specialists, and expertise with administrative applications (myUFL, myInvestigator, and more) are available!
