UF provides iThenticate accounts free of charge. The service is for faculty, students involved in developing research papers, publications, and grant proposals, and for staff involved in the sponsored research environment. iThenticate allows you to scan your research papers, publications, and grant proposals prior to your submission for missed citations and other mistakes that could be characterized as plagiarism, protecting the integrity of your scholarship and professional reputation. Learn more about the sources (e.g., what databases and abstracts, publications, and research titles) iThenticate scans against by visiting UF e-Learning’s iThenticate page.
UF Community members (faculty, students, and staff) who want to request their free iThenticate account may do so via the online form here. Anyone who would like assistance using iThenticate are welcome to contact UFIT’s e-Learning support team through their message form, visiting the UF Computing Help Desk (132 Hub), or by calling 352-392-HELP/4357, and selecting option 2.
