UFIT’s Center for Instructional Technology and Training (CITT) is offering three certificate-earning series this term:

Principles of Effective Instruction (1/28/19 – 4/7/19): The Principles of Effective Instruction series addresses components of instructional concepts including pedagogical theory, course design, student engagement, and the role of assessments in online learning. Participants choose their own educational experience by completing five focused professional development opportunities.

Teaching with Technology (1/28/19 – 2/24/19): The Teaching with Technology series addresses fundamentals, methods, and implementation of technology to improve the overall learning experience. Participants explore ways to increase student engagement and improve instructor presence to create a technology-enhanced learning environment.

Teaching for Inclusivity and Accessibility (1/22/19 – 5/3/19): The Teaching for Inclusivity and Accessibility series covers technical, social, and pedagogical aspects of education; and focuses on relevant and reflective activities so participants may implement changes in their teaching practice.  Participants learn strategies to reach diverse student populations, with attention paid to multiculturalism, gender identity, access and disability, and more.
