Training is available for faculty who want to incorporate UFApps into their courses. The first two sessions of the UFApps for Faculty training are:
March 20 1:55pm – 4:00pm
March 29 9:35am – 11:30am
Both sessions are scheduled in Hub 221, with dates selected to allow interested faculty time to build UFApps into their summer or fall syllabi. The training’s content was developed based on feedback from instructors who used UFApps in their courses. The UFApps service enables faculty and students to access otherwise cost-prohibitive software, while allowing instructors to provide hands-on practice and measure authentic assessment of student skills in software relevant to today’s industry and marketplace.
UFApps for Faculty training events are limited to 30 participants due to the active learning style of the training, so early registration is encouraged. Anyone with questions about this training or other IT-related training need may email email@example.com.
