If you are a new freshman or transfer student, you may have developed your schedule to include one or more online classes. To prepare for Fall 2015, you might want to familiarize yourself with e-Learning, UF’s online learning environment. Right now, courses are available in two course management systems (CMS): Sakai and Canvas. However, by Summer A of 2016 all courses will be in Canvas.
While the migration to Canvas is underway, you may be confused about where your classes are located. If so, click on “Where’s My Course?” in the left column on UF’s e-Learning homepage. Then, click on ‘CMS Selector”. After you enter your GatorLink credentials, your class schedule will load and show which courses are in Canvas and which ones are in Sakai.
There are also several academic support tools in e-Learning that you can utilize for classwork, like the Turnitin plagiarism checker and Qualtrics survey builder. For help with e-Learning, students can check out the e-Learning FAQs, or visit the UF Computing Help Desk in HUB 132.
