UFApps — the service connecting Gator students to software applications anytime, from any device–recently underwent a significant upgrade. Among the changes:
With the new UFApps portal, students can easily set specific software apps as favorites, eliminating the need to search for them each time they log on.
The new hardware that UFApps now runs on improves the user experience in several ways. One way is through the installation of NVidia GRID K2 cards that enhance performance of graphics intensive apps.
Compatibility with More Devices:
UFApps now fully supports Windows Phone and Chromebook platforms. Students can even run apps directly from their favorite HTML5-compatible Web browser.
An additional feature coming this fall will be the syncing up of your GatorCloud OneDrive files from within UFApps. The UFApps team is constantly looking for ways to improve the service. Have a software request or other suggestion? Fill out their online form or stop by Tech Fair on October 2 and share your ideas with the UFApps team.
