May 12, 2016
Beginning Thursday, May 12, the lynda.com login page is changing. The new login page is more accessible and is one full page, rather than just a “pop-up” box off of the homepage. A slightly different process for using lynda @UF is now required for new users and when using a new device to access lynda for the first time.
UFIT provides lynda.com FREE for all students, faculty, and staff. To log in for free, click on “Organization Login” and type in ‘www.ufl.edu’ in the box that says, “Or, enter your organization’s URL to log in through their portal”. After typing in the URL, enter your GatorLink user name. The new login page includes ‘Remember Me’ by default, so you should be good to go the next time you log in. Did you know UF is #1 in overall usage among universities in the lynda campus program? UF has ranked first in total number of users, total number of videos viewed, and total number of courses accessed for the past three years.
With 5,000 video courses available 24/7 on topics including Python, SAS, Excel, and InDesign, the sky’s the limit for personal development! Log in today through UFIT’s training site. Please contact the UF Computing Help Desk for assistance with the new lynda login.
