Fall semester is right around the corner. Students: Before you arrive, familiarize yourself with UF’s campus locations for IT services and support:
At the UF Computing Help Desk (Hub 132), FREE consulting is available on your devices for Internet connectivity issues, email configuration, e-Learning, and GatorLink support. While you’re there, ask about discounted software for students– you can save 60%-80%!
Marston Science Library
Marston is now open 24/5, meaning you have more time to use its services. Use the 3-D printer for a class project or for fun before heading to Collaboration Commons to study in the open space or one of the 21 study rooms. Next, check out MADE@UF, a lab dedicated to mobile app development. (…and MSL is also home to the newest Starbucks at UF!)
The Arc Lab is UFIT’s 24/7 lab. There, students can scan, print, and use either Mac or Windows computers loaded with software like Kompozer, MathCAD and RISA.
Student Affairs IT
If you have problems connecting to residence hall Wi-Fi, head over to the Student Affairs IT desk in Beaty East. Hours for DHNet support are listed here.
