Interface 2013 will continue the successful format of “lightning rounds” – short demonstrations of technology use and instructional practices — presented by UF instructors identified for their innovative and effective use of technology in teaching. Following each lightning round, participants will have the opportunity for face-to-face discussion with both presenters and peers.
Curtis Bonk, an internationally recognized speaker on online teaching, learning, and technology, is the keynote speaker for Interface 2013. Curt is the author of the widely-used Empowering Online Learning: 100+ Activities for Reading, Reflecting, Displaying, and Doing, among other titles, and more than 275 published articles.
Interface 2013 is sponsored by the Technology Innovations Advisory Committee, UF Information Technology, The Center for Humanities and the Public Sphere, and the Smathers Libraries. Visit the Interface Web site for additional information and to register.
