UFIT is offering a three-part e-Learning workshop series between Summer A and Summer B. The workshop series, open to all instructors, covers the basics of managing e-Learning courses: using tools, communicating with students, designing assignments, and organizing student submissions. Participants will be given a “sandbox” or empty-shell course page, to experiment with during the workshops. Using the sandbox, instructors will manage the Gradebook, create assignments, and practice using discussion tools.
The first workshop series is scheduled for June 17-19. Two more workshop series follow on June 26-27 and July 24-25. To register, visit https://lss.at.ufl.edu/training/register/.
The e-Learning Support Services team offers many opportunities to enhance your ‘teaching with technology’ skill-set. Faculty can also email or call (352.392.4357, option 3) e-Learning Support Services with any questions about managing online courses.
