This summer Ryan Yang became UFIT’s inaugural Associate Director of Teaching and Learning. Yang’s responsibilities include the strategic direction of the Center for Instructional Technology and Training (CITT), continued development of a learning analytics repository for teaching and learning outcomes, and innovating learning spaces & A/V design in UF classrooms. Yang brings 18+ years of experience from Michigan State University (MSU) where he held positions ranging from lead instructional designer to associate director of academic IT. While at MSU, Yang managed multiple campus-wide learning management system migrations and led numerous efforts to integrate emerging educational technologies into the learning ecosystem. Yang is thrilled to be joining Gator Nation at such a transformational point in the university’s history:

“I am grateful for this wonderful opportunity with University of Florida, and excited to be surrounded by world-class faculty, students, and exceptionally talented colleagues. I look forward to contributing to many of the existing initiatives focused on enhancing teaching and learning at UF. I am also eager to meet with faculty and discuss new ways to collaborate and innovate in education technology and learning spaces across campus.”
