A successful Student Tech Fee Academic Innovation submission now provides students, instructional faculty, and instructional staff with free access to the iClicker Cloud app. Because the service is cloud-based, students no longer have to purchase iClicker remotes.
iClicker Cloud allows instructors to create questions and poll students to evaluate their comprehension, retention, or classroom experience. Students enter poll responses on their mobile device to provide instant assessment feedback, so instructors can decide whether to move forward with material or step back and review as needed. Features include:
Polling and Quizzing
Allows instructors and students to interact in real time and provide immediate feedback in order to gauge understanding and spot misconceptions.
Adds an asynchronous option for pre-class assignments, self-paced work, team breakouts, lab work, and more.
Enables instructors to automate the attendance gathering process.
iClicker Cloud works for face-to-face, hybrid, and fully online classes. More information about using iClicker Cloud is available on the updated iClicker Cloud webpage.
