To provide IT support for UF Online students, in May the UF Computing Help Desk began offering 24/7 email and phone assistance. This extension of 24/7 service hours is now available to all UF students, faculty, and staff.
Expansion of support means that Help Desk staff are available by email and phone at night after the Hub closes. Evening and overnight Help Desk staff can assist with password resets, GatorLink issues, VPN and Wi-Fi connectivity issues, and more. Due to the Help Desk walk-in hours not being changed along with the 24/7 expansion, services such as laptop consulting and software purchases are not available during the extended hours when the Hub building is closed.
There are Self-Help documents and How-To videos on the UF Computing Help Desk website, along with a complete list of services available during regular business hours when the Hub is open. Please call (352-392-HELP/4357) or visit (132 Hub) if you need Help Desk assistance.
