On May 6, UFIT will upgrade the Lynda.com service to Linkedin Learning. The online learning platform remains FREE to all students, faculty, and staff with valid GatorLink credentials.
The Linkedin Learning platform includes all Lynda course content plus an additional 6,000 online skill-building education options. There are more advantages: Personalized course recommendations based on your geographic location, job title, and interests; and the opportunity to have badges and certificate information earned via Lynda/Linkedin Learning appear on your Linkedin professional profile. Your account settings and course history will be migrated, as will any training bookmarks, exercise files, and certificates you’ve downloaded. After UFIT completes the upgrade, all current UF-Lynda.com users will receive an email from Linkedin Learning with a link to activate your new account.
The Lynda.com service will be unavailable during the upgrade day. Additional information will be posted on UFIT News. Anyone with questions about the upgrade to Linkedin Learning may call (352-392-HELP/4357) or email the UF Computing Help Desk.
