First Gator Computing Program a Success
June 19, 2017

The Gator Computing Program (GCP) wrapped up on June 16 with a Symposium featuring the participants’ project presentations. The GCP students, ninth and tenth graders from nine counties throughout Florida, spent 10 days on campus visiting research labs, computational facilities, and several UF Centers and Institutes. The GCP students also got to hear lectures from leading science and humanities faculty and take programming lessons in Arduino, MATLAB, Python, and Unity software.
