UFIT’s Center for Instructional Technology and Training (CITT) is offering the inaugural Faculty Design and Development Retreat. This weeklong face-to-face retreat focuses on best practices for designing pedagogically sound and engaging courses. The retreat’s theme is Universal Design for Learning (UDL).

Limited to 15 participants, the first Faculty Design and Development Retreat will be held Monday, June 24 – Friday, June 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day. Participants will learn about faculty support resources and hear faculty perspectives on course design while building the foundation for a future course offering, including a course map, a learner-centered syllabus, and active learning assignments. Coffee will be provided in the morning and a boxed lunch provided daily. Additional details, including the online application link, are available here: http://citt.ufl.edu/training/dda/fddr/.

Please contact Interim Manager Shannon Dunn if you have any questions about this retreat or other services offered by the CITT.
