The Electronic Thesis and Dissertation (ETD) service is now located on the first floor of the Hub at the UF Computing Help Desk. The ETD service is part of the Application Support Center, whose team helps students prepare their thesis or dissertation for submission to the UF Graduate School Editorial Office.

“My expectations are constantly exceeded by the ASC staff,” wrote Andrew Tomiczek, a research assistant in the department of civil and coastal engineering. “Morgan was extremely helpful and polite, and thoroughly reviewed my thesis.”

The Electronic Thesis and Dissertation staff maintain templates in Microsoft Word and LaTex. ETD support options include templates for proposals and templates for documents requiring a table of contents, list of figures, and/or list of tables. The ETD staff also periodically hold training seminars on graduate and postdoctoral submission preparation.

Walk-in consultations are available at the Help Desk (132 Hub). One-on-one appointments can also be arranged by emailing the ETD group or by calling 352-392-HELP/4357.
