UF Information Technology is looking for student feedback on UF’s e-Learning course management system. Do you have an idea for a new feature or an improvement to an existing one? The Learning Support Services group is looking to students for suggestions. Visit e-Learning and click on the Suggestions link (in the left column) to add a suggestion, vote for another student’s proposal, or comment on trending proposals.
Sakai and other e-Learning resources are extremely complex, both in programming and in integration with other systems and services. Some university systems can be taken down for upgrades and maintenance, but e-Learning cannot be taken offline for a significant period of time since classes are offered year-round.
UFIT is committed to making e-Learning as user-friendly as possible to meet student and instructor needs. Recommendations received so far include the ability to upload student photos in discussion posts, adding a Gradebook tracking feature, changing the placement of the Worksite set-up, and reworking the way group assignments are submitted. Students…speak up! Take advantage of the opportunity to shape your e-Learning experience.
