Dive into LinkedIn Learning

If you don’t have a flight booked or beach destination on your calendar for Spring Break, consider using this down-time for professional development. Not to be confused with the LinkedIn networking platform, LinkedIn Learning is free for UF students, faculty, and staff with an active GatorLink account.

LinkedIn Learning has more than 13,000 courses in seven languages, and learners can earn badges and certifications in software programs, too. When creating a Linkedin Learning account, you can opt to connect your LinkedIn account and earn badges for completed courses that will feature prominently on your professional profile. Some of the most popular courses accessed at UF are “Excel: Tips and Tricks,” “Designing a Resume for Creatives,” and “Learning R.”

Follow these steps to get started:
Go to elearning.ufl.edu
Click on “LinkedIn Learning” beneath the login button
Enter your Gatorlink credentials
Sign in using the email you use for LinkedIn.com or with your UF email.

If you do not have a LinkedIn account, you will be prompted to join. UFIT underwrites the cost of LinkedIn Learning for the UF community, saving you the $25 monthly cost. Call (352-392-HELP/4357) or stop by the UF Computing Help Desk during walk-in hours for assistance with any UF e-Learning service.
